David Tennant Does A Podcast With...
If
you follow me on Instagram (@thelastofmythoughts) you’ll know how much I love
David Tennant. It doesn’t matter how uninterested in a show or film I am, if
he’s in it I’m gonna at least give it a go. So when I discovered he was doing a
podcast I had to give it a try and it’s changed my life. I absolutely love it!

The
premise of David Tennant’s podcast which is currently releasing its second season weekly is David Tennant spends about 45 - 50 minutes interviewing a celebrity.
These have included people he’s worked with such as Catherine Tate and Jodie
Whittaker. People he’s really good friends with like Michael Sheen and Olivia
Coleman and people he is a big fan of like Jim Parsons and James Corden.

I’ve
spent many hours sat listening to this interview that seems more like I’m
eavesdropping on a chat between two friends! I personally like to listen to a
podcast while printing off pictures on my sprocket printer and scrapbooking
some of my best memories!

His
podcast guests range from big famous actors such as Ian McKellen and Whoopi
Goldberg to political people such as Gordon Brown and Stacey Abrams. I find
myself fascinated as he speaks to these people about their lives, how they got
into whatever it is they do, some of the trials and tribulations they’ve had
during their lives and what it is they intend to do next.

Even during the current state of the World he's still managed to create podcasts with people from their own houses through zoom calls. This most recent series of zoom call, podcast interviews has included stars such as: Judi Dench, George Takei and Dany Levy.

These
people recount hilarious stories from behind the scenes of some of the
biggest films and shows. But they also sometimes delve into more deep and
tougher times of their lives that can sometimes leave you feeling a little bit
emotional. You get to understand these people on a more personal level as they
bare their lives to both David Tennant and the audience who listen in.
It
is a podcast I greatly look forward to and I hope it continues on to a season 3
so I can spend more hours learning about these famous people and their lives. Also as a plus note there is now merch! So if I do not receive a David Tennant Does A Podcast With travel coffee cup for Christmas I'll be really disappointed.
